At point 1 it has the most GPE out of the whole ride because it is at the highest point possible. After the roller coaster comes down the hill to point 2 it has the least GPE because it is at the lowest point possible. At point 3 the cart is gaining some GPE because it is going up hill therefore going higher. At point 1 there is the least amount of KE because the cart is going the slowest. At point 2 the cart has the most KE because it has just turned almost all the GPE into KE by coming down the steep hill and gained speed. At point 3 the cart is losing KE because by going up the hill it is slowing down.
